My heart is overwhelmed at the response to the World Mission Missionaries Training project of July 15, 2008. Our budget was met in abundance. We were able to distribute resource materials valued at over $2,000 including books, a 6-hour DVD of Dr. Robert Rohm’s personality seminar, and a professional evaluation to each missionary registered.
We were honored to be able to participate in this orientation meeting, and grateful for the interest and response we received from the missionaries and the staff. Dr. Doug LeRoy has invited us to return for a full seminar for the World Missions staff at headquarters. We also received inquiries for conferences in Ecuador, Kenya and the Philippines. All of these conferences would be to train pastors –-my very passion!
A brief report on the 3-day event is on the www.cogwm.org website in the News section, under “Missionary Orientation.” Please continue in prayer for these missionaries as they will shortly begin their new assignments.
An accounting of the project funds is listed below. The Ada, OK, church insisted that the air conditioning on our Geo be fixed before the trip and it was, as is noted. (Oh, how nice!)
May God’s richest blessings be yours for your willingness to plant into His Kingdom ---truly, the work of World Missions is the very heartbeat of God! With the keen interest at the conference, I can say without a doubt that only eternity will reveal the final results and it will be good! Thank you so very much for your continued prayerful support and confidence.
